Age on Other Planets

Every planet takes a different time to orbit the Sun, so your age depends on where you are standing. Enter your birth date to see how old you are on each planet of the solar system, and when your next planetary birthday falls.

Your Birth Date

How It Works

Your age in "planet years" is the time you have been alive divided by the length of that planet's year (its orbital period around the Sun).

Mercury orbits the Sun in just 88 Earth days, so a 30 year old human is over 124 Mercury years old. Neptune needs almost 165 Earth years for a single orbit, so nobody alive has had a first Neptune birthday.

Orbital periods used (in Earth days): Mercury 87.97, Venus 224.70, Earth 365.26, Mars 686.98, Jupiter 4332.59, Saturn 10759.22, Uranus 30688.5, Neptune 60182, and dwarf planet Pluto 90560.

Your next planetary birthday is the moment your age on that planet reaches the next whole number; on fast planets like Mercury they come around every few months.
